Program Offerings

We partner with recognized training programs, including pre-apprenticehip programs, community colleges, and other youth-oriented training partners, to deliver training and credentialing, mentorship, and scholarships for underrepresented workers in the residential construction industry.

All our new worker programs include education on the career pathways available within residential construction. We offer a limited number of support services to highly motivated trainees in the form of training course scholarships and work to connect them with prospective employer through our industry connections and Residential Construction Job Board.

We participate in advisory committees and routinely coordinate with industry stakeholders, utilities, and government entities to coordinate on workforce development opportunities.

We’re members of the Oregon Clean Energy Workforce Coalition, the Oregon Healthy Homes Task Force, Portland Clean Energy Benefits Fund’s High Roads Advisory Council, East Portland Action Plan and other advisory groups focused on gathering stakeholders to identify workforce development opportunities.

We partner with schools and youth programs to deliver an introductory course on sustainable homes and build awareness among students of careers in the residential construction industry
